US agencies seeking federal money for ITS initiatives need BABA-compliant vendors
Sensys Networks says its wireless and radar traffic detection products are now fully compliant with “current and upcoming” Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act needs.
It says its US-manufactured components meet both Phase 1 (domestic final assembly of manufactured products) and upcoming Phase 2 (at least 55% US-sourced component content by cost) requirements.
BABA is part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and created ‘Made in USA’ standards for federally-funded infrastructure projects.
US agencies seeking federal money for ITS initiatives and deployments need to be working with vendors whose products are BABA-compliant.
“With [federal] waiver expirations and stricter compliance now in force, agencies need suppliers they can trust,” says Brian Fuller, president of Sensys Networks.
“Our partners can move forward confidently – without having to seek waivers or compromise on timelines. We’ve invested in domestic manufacturing and supply chain resilience for over a decade.”
Sensys’ wireless sensor systems and radar systems are manufactured, assembled, and tested in the US, with core operations based in Oakland, California and Mankato, Minnesota.
