Brian Fuller
President & COO
Brian Fuller has over 30 years of product development and management experience in data networking, telephony and wireless sensors. He joined Sensys Networks in its early stages in 2005 as Director of Engineering. Prior to joining the company, Brian held both technical and managerial responsibilities at GoDigital Networks, Extreme Networks, Inc., InnoMedia, Inc., and Lucent Technologies, Inc.
Brian received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.Robert Kavaler
Ph.D., CTO, Co-Founder
Sensys Networks co-founder, Dr. Robert Kavaler is a born inventor. With over 25 years of experience in developing wireless, ultra-low-power sensors, Robert is both the architect of the Sensys Networks product line, and an individual contributor in the software and hardware implementations.
Previously, Robert led the Berkeley Design Center at InnoMedia, where he served as chief architect of the company’s telecom server and VoIP gateway products. Before his work at InnoMedia, Robert was CTO and VP of Engineering at Diva Communications, a wireless local loop startup he co-founded with Dr. Amine Haoui in 1993. Robert has also developed new technologies for UPS, Mitsubishi, AT&T, Sharp, and Digital Microsystems, and received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. -
Bill Weber
VP of Sales & Marketing
Bill Weber has provided more than two decades of leadership for innovative projects and organizations within several industry-leading companies. Prior to Sensys Networks, Bill gained invaluable experience in 3M's innovative culture through a diverse path of responsibilities as well as the company's renowned training programs in leadership and technical disciplines. In over fifteen years at 3M, Bill's leadership positions spanned product development, manufacturing, professional services, operations, marketing and sales.He led several teams commercializing ground-breaking new products, including successful new sustainable business models for the company. Within the Intelligent Transportation Systems industry, Bill's roles have involved operations leadership at the Vice President and COO level with experience in both direct and distribution channel business models.
Bill earned his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.Eric Murugneux
VP of EMEA and Asia Pacific
Eric Murugneux has over 20 years experience in international sales, business development, marketing and project management. He has gained most of his experience in the mobility and automotive sector involving new technologies disrupting established markets. Eric is passionate about scaling up organizations and opening new territories. Dedicated to his customers, he values and cultivates long term relationships based on mutual trust.
Eric holds a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ECAM Lyon and an MBA from HEC Paris. -
Luca Fusina
VP of Europe, UK
Luca Fusina has a broad and international experience in Sales, Strategy & Business Development, Operations, Engineering Management as well as in developing talent, organizations, and markets globally. With over 25 years of experience, Luca has developed a deep industry expertise in transportation, electronics, software, and other high-tech industries.

Ph.D., Co-Founder, Strategic Business Development
Over the past two decades Dr. Amine Haoui—a wireless communications pioneer—has founded and led several emerging technology companies. In 1985, Amine launched the wireless communications division at TCSI, which grew to become a leading developer of DSP and digital cellular technologies before the group’s successful IPO in 1989. As co-founder of Diva Communications—an innovator in the nascent wireless loop industry—Amine served as CEO before acquisition by InnoMedia in 1999. He then served as InnoMedia’s Executive VP for the next four years. In 2003, Dr. Haoui co-founded Sensys Networks, a technology company focused on wireless vehicle detection systems for the transportation industry.
Amine holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley, an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. -
Hamed Benouar
Ph.D., Business Development
Dr. Hamed Benouar comes to Sensys Networks with extensive experience in the transportation industry. Prior to joining the company, Hamed served as Director of the California Center for Innovative Transportation (CCIT), at the University of California, Berkeley. Established by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and the University of California in 2001, the CCIT facilitated the development, commercialization, and deployment of promising transportation technologies and systems.
Before his role at CCIT, Hamed spent many years as Caltrans’ Chief Traffic Engineer, overseeing the statewide Transportation Operations Program. This program, comprised of over 1,600 employees, managed and operated more than 48,000 lane miles of state highway system.
Hamed is a registered Professional Engineer and holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering (Transportation) from the University of California, Berkeley.
